LOBBY DAY & LEGISLATIVE LUNCHEON

Ohio United Way held the third annual Lobby Day and Legislative Luncheon activities on Wednesday, April 14. United Way leaders from around the state gathered in Columbus to meet with legislators during morning and afternoon appointments, and to share lunch with those legislators who chose to attend or send office representatives to the Legislative Luncheon.

Douglas E. Lumpkin, Director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, was the guest speaker for the luncheon. His insightful comments provided a clear perspective regarding the climate of need throughout Ohio's communities. He also noted that United Ways provide ongoing leadership and support to the agencies that assist Ohio's citizens in critical need.
